Daily life & household tasks

About this support

A well-run home makes everything else easier. When the washing is done, the fridge is stocked and dinner is sorted, there is more time and energy left for the things that actually matter to you. Our support workers help with the everyday tasks of running a household, working with you, not just for you.

Support looks different for everyone. For some people it is a worker doing the heavy lifting; for others it is doing tasks together, building confidence along the way. You set the standard for your own home. We simply help you get there, reliably and without fuss.

What this support can include

Every arrangement is personalised to you. These are some of the ways this support commonly helps.

  • Light household cleaning and tidying
  • Laundry, ironing and changing bed linen
  • Meal planning, grocery shopping and cooking, together or for you
  • Washing up and keeping the kitchen safe and hygienic
  • Help staying on top of mail, bills and appointments
  • Basic home organisation, so the things you use are easy to find and reach
  • Support with pet care routines, such as feeding and fresh water

This support might suit you if…

  • You manage a lot already and some practical help would take real pressure off
  • Your energy or mobility makes heavier household tasks difficult or unsafe
  • You want to build your own homemaking skills with someone patient beside you
  • Your home has become hard to keep on top of and you would like a fresh start, without judgement

Not sure whether this fits your plan or your funding? Our plain-English NDIS guide explains how supports work, or you can simply ask us.

The nurse-led difference

Our support workers are trained to notice more than the task list: changes in appetite, mobility, mood or the home environment are flagged early to our nursing team. It is a quiet safety net that comes standard with being a nurse-led provider.

FAQs

Common questions about daily life & household tasks

Can the same worker help with household tasks and personal care?

Often, yes, and many people prefer it that way. Fewer faces, more familiarity. We build your roster around your plan and your preferences, so support fits together as one seamless service rather than a series of separate visits.
