Personal care

About this support

Personal care is personal. It happens in your home, in your space, and it works best when it is done your way. Our support workers take the time to learn how you like things (the order of your morning routine, the temperature of your shower, the way you take your tea) so that support feels like a helping hand, not an interruption.

Because Angel Assistance Care is led by Registered Nurses, the everyday supports we deliver sit on a solid clinical foundation. Your support plan is thoughtfully prepared, your workers are properly trained, and dignity and privacy are non-negotiable in everything we do.

FAQs

Common questions about personal care

Can I choose who supports me, including the gender of my support worker?

Yes, your preferences matter to us. We will always ask about them, including whether you would prefer a male or female support worker, and match you thoughtfully. If a worker is not the right fit, tell us and we will work with you to change the arrangement. It will never affect your supports.

What if my needs change over time?

We review your support regularly and adjust as your needs change. Because our team is nurse-led, changes in your health or mobility are picked up early and your plan is updated with clinical input, not left to drift.
