Our story
Care that started at the bedside
Angel Assistance Care was founded by two Registered Nurses, Amandeep Kaur Mann and Gagandeep Kaur Sandhu. Through years of nursing, they saw first-hand how much difference the right support makes: support that is clinically informed and, just as importantly, genuinely personal. They built Angel Assistance Care to bring both together for people with disability in their own community.
Being nurse-led shapes everything we do. Care decisions are informed by clinical training and experience, supports are planned and reviewed with a nurse’s eye for detail, and our team is trained and supported to deliver each person’s supports safely and consistently, including complex and high-intensity supports.
We’re local to Melton and Melbourne’s western suburbs. That means the people we support are our neighbours, and we know the community, services and places that matter here. When you call us, you’re talking to people who live and work where you do.

Gagandeep is a Registered Nurse and co-founder of Angel Assistance Care. She works closely with participants and families to shape supports around each person’s goals and daily life.

Clinically informed, every day
Many things about good support come down to warmth and consistency. Some come down to clinical judgement: knowing what to look for, what a small change might mean, and when to act. Because Angel Assistance Care is led by Registered Nurses, that judgement sits behind every support we deliver.
For participants, families and support coordinators, nurse-led care means:

- Trained support workers delivering care to a documented plan
- Honest, timely communication with families and coordinators
